The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce
The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit making organization of Chinese firms and businessmen.  Founded in 1900, it is one of the oldest and largest chambers of commerce in Hong Kong.  At present, the Chamber has a membership of over 6,000 with an extensive coverage of medium and large listed companies in Hong Kong, Chinese enterprises, SMEs and many business elites. Multinational companies, foreign enterprises in Hong Kong and Mainland enterprises are recruited as affiliate members. 

The Chamber maintains close contacts with trade associations and Chinese chambers all over the world. Our Guangzhou office serves as an effective platform to provide latest trade and economic information on the Mainland.




The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong
Established in 1934, the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) is a non-profit making industrial organisation.  In the past eight decades, CMA has grown significantly and is now one of the most representative industrial associations in Hong Kong. With some 3,000 member companies, CMA is committed to promoting Hong Kong’s industrial and commercial development.  

CMA closely monitors developments in the international market and domestic and external conditions that may affect Hong Kong’s trade and industry.  CMA’s activities and services are aimed at promoting the well-being of Hong Kong as a whole. It also attaches great importances to fostering international understanding and co-operation.





Federation of Hong Kong Brands
Established in 1934, the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) is a non-profit making industrial organisation.  In the past eight decades, CMA has grown significantly and is now one of the most representative industrial associations in Hong Kong. With some 3,000 member companies, CMA is committed to promoting Hong Kong’s industrial and commercial development.

It also attaches great importances to fostering international understanding and co-operation.




Federation of Hong Kong Industries
The Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) was established in 1960 under the Federation of Hong Kong Industries Ordinance (Cap 321) of the laws of Hong Kong. FHKI is one of the leading trade and industry associations in Hong Kong aimed at promoting and representing the interests of Hong Kong industries and businesses. 

The FHKI is widely represented in various Government bodies and organisations concerned with trade and industry issues. It is also a functional constituency to which members elect a representative to the Legislative Council. 

With 2,000 members and more, they are divided into 32 industry groups based on their areas of business, including various manufacturing industries and other sectors such as supporting and trading services, transport and logistics, information technology, creative industry and design.



Hong Kong Brand Development Council

Initiated by the Chinese Manufacturers Association of Hong Kong (the CMA), Hong Kong Brand Development Council (the Council) is a non-profit-making institution aiming to promote the development of Hong Kong brands by pooling together the efforts of all walks of life. It is committed to promoting Hong Kong brands and products, advocating innovation and creativity, fostering an environment conducive to brand-building, and enhancing exchanges and cooperation among companies in regard to brand development.

The Council has set itself the task of becoming a flagship to lead the way in Hong Kong's brand development, being a driver for the pursuit of an overall strategy, a facilitator for the formulation and implementation of related policies, and a coordinator for the branding efforts of local organizations. The Council has been playing an active role in every key area, sharpening its leadership in brand accreditation, incubation, promotion, research, exchanges and international cooperation

The Hong Kong Chinese Importers’ and Exporters’ Association

The Hong Kong Chinese Importers’ and Exporters’ Association was founded in 1954. It is one of the major business communities in Hong Kong. 

Since its founding, HKCIEA has been committed to facilitating trade exchanges between its members and the rest of the world, and has been gradually developing into a platform for its members to express opinions, collect various political and social information so as to make contribution to society and to strengthen liaison between members.  



Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore represents the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in matters between Hong Kong and six member countries of the Association of the Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), namely Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos.    
 
Set up in 1995, the office promotes Hong Kong’s economic and trade interests in the region by engaging decision-makers and opinion-formers; monitoring developments in the region that may affect Hong Kong; and liaising with the government and business sectors in the six ASEAN countries concerned.  The office attracts investment into Hong Kong by publicizing the city’s unique business advantages, including its roles as an international financial centre, a logistics and service hub, and an ideal business platform for companies doing business with the Mainland of China.  The office also promotes people-to-people exchanges between Hong Kong and the six ASEAN countries that it covers.




Hong Kong Electrical Appliance Industries Association

Established in July 1998 as a non-profit-making organization (Formerly known as Hong Kong Electrical Appliances Manufacturers Association), we have more than 200 members at present, and are a representative body of Hong Kong’s electrical appliance industry.

Our objectives are to improve the industry as a whole by

• Enhancing the communication, interaction and co-operation among members

• Establishing liaison with and conveying the collective opinions to government bodies, industrial or trade organizations so as to serve the interest of Hong Kong electrical appliance industry

• Helping to upgrade Hong Kong electrical appliance industry’ levels of engineering, technical, management and marketing skills in order to improve its performance and enhance its competitiveness in the international market

• Organizing and sponsoring related activities for the development of Hong Kong electrical appliance industry

• Establishing contacts and platforms for members to develop business relationships with overseas and local buyers and potential joint-venture partners

• Helping to build and enhance the reputation and image of Hong Kong electrical appliance industry so as to attract talent to join and grow with the industry




The Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association

The Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association Limited (HKEIA) was established in 1980. The objectives of the HKEIA are: 

• to promote and foster the interests of Hong Kong's electronics industry and business communities; 

• to represent the views of electronics industry and advise the government and other public bodies on policies and legislation affecting the industry; 

• to sponsor trade fairs, trade missions, seminars, and other promotional activities in Hong Kong, China or overseas with the aim of helping members raise their technology level in the industry; 

• to advance and promote commercial and technical education, and to conduct charitable activities as part of its social responsibilities and; 

• to collect and disseminate statistical and other information relating to the Electronics Industry. 







The Hong Kong Exporters’ Association

The Hong Kong Exporters’ Association (HKEA) was founded in 1955. HKEA is committed to safeguarding the interests and progressing the business opportunities of its member exporters. Upon the ever-changing global economic and trade pattern, HKEA endeavors to develop Hong Kong as a trading hub for exporters.  

Since 1975, HKEA initiated and organized the HK Toys and Gifts Fair, HK Gifts & Houseware Fair and HK Premium Show. Recent years, HKEA is devoted to mobilize the industry to develop original design and brands to enhance their competitiveness.  
HKEA also organizes the “Hong Kong Smart Design Awards” (formerly HK Smart Gifts Design Awards) and sets up HK Pavilion at prominent overseas fairs to feature and showcase to international buyers innovative, creative and quality products.




Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce

Founded in 1861, the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce is the oldest, yet most dynamic business organization in Hong Kong. Our members represent a wide spectrum of local, Mainland Chinese and international businesses. More than half of the flagship corporations listed on the Hang Seng Index are HKGCCmembers.  

Combined, our membership, from renowned multinationals to thriving SMEs, employ around one-third of the local workforce. The Chamber serves as the voice of business, and helps members succeed through our core functions: advocacy, knowledge-based events, networking, and a variety of business documentation services. 

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Chamber has organized the “The Wonders of Hong Kong” photo competition and engaged Hong Kong residents and tourists to portray a prosperous and energetic Hong Kong through the camera lens.

Hong Kong Tourism Board

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is a Government-subvented body.  Operating 15 offices around the world and representative offices in six different markets, its primary mission is to maximise the social and economic contribution that tourism makes to the community of Hong Kong and to consolidate the city’s position as a world-class destination. The HKTB works closely with the Government, travel industry and other partners to promote Hong Kong worldwide, widen the range of tourism products Hong Kong offers, elevate service standards, and enhance the visitor experience.
