Mr Li Lianjun
Solicitor, Maritime Arbitrator and representative, CIETAC (HK) and CMAC(HK)

Lianjun Li (M.Sc., LLM, FCIArb) is a partner and head of International Shipping and Trade Litigation Practice of Reed Smith Richards Butler. Lianjun qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong, England and Wales. Lianjun has extensive experience in dealing with international trade and commodity disputes, shipping disputes, documentary credit issues, international commercial and shipping arbitration and in practical and legal aspects of doing business, negotiation and litigation in China.

Lianjun is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Panel Arbitrator of the Law Society of Hong Kong. Lianjun is also a panel or listed arbitrator in a number of well-known arbitration institutions including the Hong Kong International Arbitrator Centre (“HKIAC”), China International Economic Arbitration Commission (“CIETAC”), China Maritime Arbitration Commission (“CMAC”), Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (“Shanghai International Arbitration Centre”), South China Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (“Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration”), Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration, Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (“SCMA”) and Arbitration Centre Across the Straits.

Lianjun is a visiting professor to Dalian Maritime University, Shanghai Maritime University, Jimei University and Korean University. Lianjun also serves as a member of Hong Kong Maritime and Port Board. Lianjun has been highly recommended as a leading shipping lawyer by Chambers & Partners Asia Pacific and Legal 500 Asia Pacific.
