Mr Robert Rhoda
Member of Standing Committee on External Affairs, The Law Society of Hong Kong

Mr. Robert Rhoda is a member of the Law Society's Standing Committee on External Affairs and Arbitration Committee. He is an active member of the international arbitration community and his other relevant appointments include

• Co-Chair of the HKIAC's HK45
• Vice chair of the Inter Pacific Bar Association's Dispute Resolution & Arbitration Committee
• Member of CIETAC Hong Kong's working party drafting guidelines for the third party funding of arbitrations
• Contributing editor of Hong Kong Civil Procedure (the "White Book").

Mr. Rhoda is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales and Hong Kong. He is a partner in Bird & Bird's International Dispute Resolution Group based in Hong Kong. He represents clients across Asia in the tech & comms, financial services and energy sectors in both international arbitration and commercial litigation matters.

Mr. Rhoda has been involved in a wide range of corporate and commercial disputes, often involving an IP element, including contractual disputes, private equity disputes, shareholder and joint venture disputes and fraud claims.
