Mr Pasit Asawawattanaporn
Managing Director Thailand Arbitration Center

Mr. Pasit Asawawattanaporn is the Managing Director of the Thailand Arbitration Center. His educational background ranges from Bachelor of Laws (Second Class Honors Degree) from Thammasat University; Barrister-at-Law from Institution of the Legal of the Thai Bar; LL.M. from University of Pennsylvania, USA; LL.M. from Harvard Law School, USA; Barrister-at-Law from New York State Bar Associate, USA and Certificate for Advance Management Program from Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, USA.

His career path started in 1992 as Judge Trainee before moving on to various key positions such as Deputy Director General of the Rights and Liberties Protection Department; Legal Adviser to the Ministry of Justice; Secretary General of the Office of Law Reform Commission; Legal Adviser to the Ministry of Justice and Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice.

Some of his outstanding achievements include Thai Delegation at the UNCITRAL Meeting on Insolvency Law; Thai Delegation at the UNCITRAL Meeting on Transportation and Trade Law; Thai Delegation at the UNCITRAL Meeting on Arbitration and Conciliation; Secretary under Subcommittee on International Collaboration and Subcommittee on Law Reform relate to the Agricultural Futures Exchange Act. He is also a guest lecturer for undergraduate degree and postgraduate degree at Thammasat University, Assumption University, Dhurakij Pundit University and Naresuan University.
