Mr Kunardy Lie
Managing Director and Chief Country Officer, Deutsche Bank AG, Indonesia

Kunardy joined Deutsche Bank, Indonesia on 11th March 2014 as Managing Director and Chief Country Officer. He joined Deutsche Bank from Citi Indonesia where he was Managing Director and Head of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Indonesia. He has extensive senior management experience across functions including through his role as Citi’s Senior Credit Officer in Indonesia where he had credit approval authority.

Kunardy began his career with Citi as a Management Trainee in 1996. He later was assigned to the Debt Restructuring Group during the 1998 Asian Financial Crisis and was responsible for restructuring the majority of Citi Indonesia’s portfolio.

He was then reassigned to rebuild the Corporate Banking division in 2005, before heading Citi’s CIB in 2008. Kunardy is a Member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA) and holds a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Rochester, New York, U.S.A. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (High Honor) in Computer Science from the University of Texas, Austin, U.S.A and is a member of the Phi Betta Kappa Honor society.
